The Dragon's Missing Thumb

Thanks. Ironically enough English and Afrikaans were my 2 worst marks in matric - and not by a narrow margin either...

2) mikes fall was a lesson to all of us, never ever take the Dragon for granted because like most woman she bites hard when she needs to, no offense to any woman.
Thanks

No argument here! And you have only done 1 easyish day hike with him - he is more of a monster when it comes to day hiking. He was still fairly energetic after the 27km 13 hour hike that was Thaba Ngwangwe last year.

I do tend to agree - same with South Hlubi. You get roughly the same view from Langies and its much easier, quicker and has a good path the entire way. Both Hlubis provide something different and are mostly worth doing for that reason. The term "single use passes" comes to mind. By contrast I really want to do Gypaetus Pass, Judge Pass and Organ Pipes Pass again.
We'll plan a day mission for Thumb Pass, head up as light as possible and if we make it to the escarpment we can come down Langies. Autumn is close, otherwise winter is perfect for this kind of hike.

That would make sense. I can't even remember who it was that knocked it over!
