Hi Guys. Elinda and myself hiked this last week end to the area beyond Lower iNjasuti Cave to find out the route to the area directly below the Red Wall Waterfall, which we plan to do soon. We could not find any info in VE of any hikers who have gone into this area (except those who recently went up Hilton Pass) and the hiking maps do not show any paths. The contour path between Lower iNjasuti Cave and Centenary Hut also was not visible. Has any one been to this area directly below the Red Wall Waterfall and which is the best approach? We came to a conclusion, even though the Escarpment was covered in mist and could not see the area well, that the valley to Hilton Pass would be the correct approach. Here is the link for another Armchair Hike to this area beyond Lower iNjasuti Cave.....

We did a trip some time ago, actually a long time ago, from LIC to Bannerman Hut, we could not find a proper path from the cave to the contour path but eventually reached a sort of path that seemed to connect with the contour path. It was very feint and I am not sure if it actually was a path. I might still have the GPS track.
