Hi Serious Tribe,

We hiked in the Mnweni area this weekend (up Manxome and down Ntonjelana). From the escarpment viewpoint south of Rockeries towards Nquza pass I could not see visible burn evidence down Rockeries (but hoping others may shed more light). We did however witness burning of the section between the escarpment edge and the top of North Peak (we camped in the Saddle) throughout Monday night. Still baffled by who / how it could have been set alight. There are also other sections in and around the area that have been burnt (at lower altitudes). None of the escarpment between Pins and Ntonjelana were burnt.

Thanks ST
That is weird. Just all on it's lonesome burning away! At least it wasn't near your tent after you had gone to sleep!
