Monk's Cowl hikes - 2 days

Hi

Thanks to everyone for all the help. I think we're gonna do the hike from Injisuthi to Grindstone cave via Cataract Valley. Day 2, return via Marble Baths and throw in a few variations depending on time and energy levels . Gonna be doing it in January so got plenty of time to plan. Will post pics and let you guys know how it was when we get back.

We did a one day hike in the Monks Cowl area in January 2013. Next time I would definitly do a multi-day trail to get the real feeling of hiking. I would start much more Southern and go further through the Monks Cowl area. Here is a short review of the Monk s Cowl Area with pictures:

I want to do a overnight hike with a small party up to stable cave on saturday from Monks Cowl.

Concerned about the safety aspect; does anyone know if there is anything to worry about or are things chilled in that region?
