Oct-Dec 2013 Photo Competition - Panoramas was created by intrepid
Following on from July-Sep Snow theme, the next round is about panoramas, as suggested. Not limited to time-frame.

Id appreciate some suggestions towards the 4 themes for 2014 so that we can plan this ahead. Thanks.

Winter 2014 - perhaps something ice related as opposed to snow as it was this year.
Just a though, perhaps a round focusing on a specific commonly visited peak would make an interesting variation. Perhaps photos of something like Monk's Cowl or Sentinel. It comes with variety of angles, foregrounds etc but also creates an interesting challenge. Plus if the peak is chosen well most of us would already have plenty of photos of it. I know I have in excess of 20 photos each of Sentinel, Monk's Cowl and Cathedral Peak.

I was going to go with a photo of Mnweni, but the Mzimude region of Garden Castle beat the photo I had in mind...

I've thrown in my contribution to bring the entries up to four. Its called Classic Cathedral since I have a biased appreciation for the Cathedral Range. Taken from the summit of the buttress overlooking the South Peak of the Mwneni Saddle (which is actually free-standing).
