I thought it was Grey's Pass, but that was on the wrong side of the headland with Nkosazana Falls.

The key clue is that the river flows over the escarpment in a south westerly direction, how many edges of the escarpment are that direction...

Well - seeing as you say it isn't Grey's Pass (I think that waterfall does flow in a SW direction, but I don't have a map with me to check) - a river would flow in roughly a north easterly direction north of Giants and a south easterly direction south of Giants. So from that it must be a pass in a large cutback. I'll need to check my maps and get back to this one...
