Guess where?

That's Chibini Tarn in the distance, in the centre, and the ridge to Highmoor leads over to the left where you can see Mt Cleopatra, and even the Kamberg againt the left hand side. Brilliant picture!

@BobbyStanton, once again, correct on all counts! I'm sure you've got a tricky photo for us somewhere...

And credit for the picture goes to Andrew Hagen, taken on our Berg record trip in Dec 2008. It's a pity we couldn't hang around to enjoy the view!

This little feature is not named on any map, but we usually name it after a prominent male appendage. Seeing as this is a family orientated website I will go no further. Along the path there is another feature which is called after an equally sexist female appendage, and is mapped.

This appendage is on the path between two well known Little Berg caves.

Question: What are the names of these caves?

I believe the picture was taken by Elinda, who is renown for taking pictures like this.

I take it you are talking about a tie - it kind of looks like one

Always fun to pretend you don't know what someone is talking about...

He might need to see a doctor about that :P

So its either at Cobham or Lotheni then. Either that or I am unaware of some other "non-family" named rock features. Well, aside from one at Bushman's Nek/southern Garden Castle - but its high Berg and not female.

I'll have a look at my maps and put in a guess a bit later...

LOL
It is Cobham, passed Whale Back and Titty.
If it is not named, what is The Policeman then?

Flashback to August 2011:

Where is this?

intrepid wrote: Ooooh! Titty and The Policemen at Cobham! Which explains the long ridge visible. I had misunderstood an earlier comment of yours that it was NOT in the Southern Berg.

These names are almost as bad as Andre's Knob.

Serious tribe wrote: @intrepid Right on the money.

Just before you come up to the top of Lakes Cave you have this ridge of rock on the right of the path in which there is this over hang. Stealth and I ambushed Big Snake from this as you have a clear view over the path. We threw rocks behind him as he was walking, initially he thought it was some sort of animal because he could not see above him...he finally realised it was just me up to my tricks. This is Stealth in the overhang's opening with the sun setting.

I sent the question just using memory of that area, but having looked at the map, I will conceed that the picture might be of 'The Policeman'. I will have to confirm the location the next time I am in the area (the Lake District of Cobham). We have never known it by that name and there are a number of similar features along that ridge.

Personal comments directed at a lady are not appreciated, no matter what I said. My comments were an attempt to be humorous.

The question has not been answered yet. Nutcracker Cave is way down in the valley from this path. I suppose these quizzes will often be answered by those who look at a map and guess. Either you know it or you don't.
