Just to clarify - that is not the top of a pass, although I feel the gully probably goes. The name I am looking for is the khulu, or the name of the valley.

Sneaky angle, I think that the summit is a long way back.

As for the valley: when Tolkien needed inspiration to written the battle scenes of 1000's Orcs storming into battle, he threw a piece of meat down here and watched the dogs.
