Just a Gopro on a little tri pod, nothing fancy wanted to see how good it would be before venturing out, the bonus is light weight.
As always trading one thing off for another. Quality vs Weight.

Just a thought on a topic sort of linked to time lapses...
Is it legal to fly drones in the Berg? Specifically between Sentinel car park all the way up to the Tugela Falls and on top of the Escarpment?

It's illegal in SANParks parks (e.g. Table Mountain National Park), not sure how that relates to EKZNW... the rules don't seem to stop people here in Cape Town

I don't know about the law on this one, but I would say it is irresponsible to fly a drone in an area with critically endangered animals such as lammergeiers around. Anything that could contribute to the extinction of an animal should be avoided at all costs.

Yeah I see drones all around Cape Town, the beaches, sometimes the mountains. I think selfie sticks are possibly more dangerous!

Thanks all

I don't own one (would like to one day) but have done a fair amount of reading on the laws recently because my $*%€! neighbour keeps flying over my house and if it continues then there will be legal action taken...

Anyway I saw a video taken by drone of the Sentinel area and wondered about the legality of it?
