R250 per person for accommodation 
R 60 for overnight hiking
R200 for transport (for 2 people) 
No cost for parking.
This is the costs she gave me. 

Hi there. We are planning a hike from this wkend from mweni cultural centre. We hear now the guy who runs it passed away and we cant get hold of anyone else. Apparently it's closed. Is this true or is there someone else we can contact? The number listed just goes to voicemail. Sorry not a hiking issue as such but thought hopefully someone on here might have some info to help. Thanx a lot. 

Agrippa sadly passed away a few years back, his brother, Leonard, has take over. MCC is still gong and the number is still the same last i checked.

reception is flaky in the mountains though, if you don't get though try an SMS they will normally respond in a day or two.

I can confirm that the 072 712 2401 number still works, been communicating with them via WhatsApp over the past week..
It often takes a day or so for a reply as signal is dodgy..

Seeing is weather is clearing up a bit, we're looking to do the Mnweni loop this weekend. Does anyone know whether there are any problems accessing the Mweni Cultural center at the moment (with all the rain, and flooding in certain areas)? I've not been able to contact them via the Whatsapp number.
