We recently did the pass and thought I'd give my experience as I know these passes tends to change and updates help. We did the pass in Aug 2024.
Overall the pass is amazing, beautifull views and fun scramble, but deffinatly not top of the list of recomendations for newbies or people with a fear of hights.

We mostly followed the riverbed untill we reached the chokestone. This was easy enough, but I am not sure how this would be when the river is fuller as it was very overgrown next to the riverbed.
The Chokestone it's self was not too difficult, but i was a bit surprised by the steep section between the chokestone and the grassy slope. We had typical August gusts and between the gusts and the loose rocks on this steep section it was deffinately not a comfortable climb,
The grassy slope was fine, but the hairy section was a lot more hairy than expected. The rocks were very loose under foot, covered in loose dirt and the ledge small, so it felt like every step was a risk. I've heard it being compared to the ledge to Rolands, but in the state we found it I found it significantly more hairy. The ledge has a bit of a slope before the drop, but definately not enough to arrest a fall and with the flakey surface it felt like a much bigger risk. Not sure if it became worse since the last group came through there, but it was definately worse than I expected.
