We're heading for Giant's come Dec. Thought I might add a Jarding Pass onto the list of options.
Reading through this thread and looking at my map-snapshot I'd like to confirm, loosely, if possible, that the route followed by Ghaz and RealDave is the one I've annotated in tar, whereas the preferred route would be the lemony one?
Does anyone possess a download they're prepared to share?
Specifically for North Jarding.

The black line looks about right for the route I used - although don't take my line, that traverse into the gully isn't great. As was often the case in my earlier hiking days - I would pick a line to avoid a gully that just made the pass harder. My line on Tsepeng Pass back in 2013 is probably the best example of this. The pass is a standard grass gully pass - as long as you end up in the correct gully, and pick your line to avoid the few obstacles (which is easy if you aren't in thick mist like I was), there's nothing complicated about this pass.
