This is it!!!!! we took this one…..does this have a name…as all other passes net to XENI still get to the bottom. This on has a clear drop at the bottom.

Thanks for the feedback…yes are humbled by the berg overtime, but keen as ever. And of course, more than happy for people to learn from our mistakes. We have taken a number of passes that didn't seems to be passes and we always seem to make a plan and get around challenges. This "pass" is DEF NOT doable without proper climbing gear due to the sheer cliff at the base. Rather heartbreaking when you get to the bottom and realise it. Sucked going back up as the boulders war big and steep (More so than Rockeries an Mweni, but not as long) but ya…great experience and good learning...

Hey Tony! Thanks for the pic. I think we were on the far left of this pic. I've circled the area that looks similar to where we were. The peaks look the same, and there is a marking on the wall that I circled red. See our image in the corner.

This is the peak we mistook for the Elephant. We were probably suffering from altitude sickness

Glad that clears it up!
An easy mistake to make, that peak north of the Elephant looks quite convincing if you aren't totally sure. At least you had an interesting adventure!
Also LOL on the photo name!

Thanks for the photos and data everyone.
Btw - out of interest, that peak marked "Xeni Peak" is actually Leopard, and the one that loops like the Elephant is Xeni Peak (a D grade single pitch rock climb with an abseil approach).
