Guess where?

The problem is that there are no major distinct features to help us... challenging! Looks like a pass top and given the knowledge of your stomping ground, my first guess would be the top of Mashai Pass?

You are correct that it is the top of a pass, you are not correct on the pass though... To anyone who has done this pass recently it is very distinctive, it is visible from most of the pass and until you reach the top you assume its a false summit...

You can't see the top of Mzimude Pass till you are right near the top (not that I have ever summitted Mzimude Pass, but I have been near its base)... If there are 3 more incorrect guesses I will post a picture looking backward from where this photo was taken (and that would be a dead giveaway)...

Btw how many of you actually catch the first joke, while the peak was distinctive to me, it isn't necessarily to everyone...

Right, next one - I'm not exactly sure where this is but I'm sure you guys can help me out...

Definitely not Mzimude, but based on what the small berg looks like it has to be southern berg. The proper escarpment ends at Walker's Peak, but the full level cliffs end at Mzimude Pass, so based on my memory (and photos) of the area, that is distinctly not a peak south of Rhino. Based on my photos of driving to Garden Castle I also doubt its anything south of Hodgeson's Peak.

I'm thinking its at Vergelegen...
