Guess where?

Is that perhaps the Sleeping Beauty Cave area? With the Monk on the left?

No, its not by sleeping beauty cave, but I will tell you that you are fairly close, you're on the wrong river (that comment should be a bit of a give away).

And the correct answer is, drum roll please, a cave just after the hidden valley, we thought the cave we were sleeping in was curtain cave (it even looked like a curtain, and definately more like a curtain than the actual curtain cave), on returning from the hike I found a photo of curtain cave and discovered that we did not sleep in curtain cave.

This photo is the cave we slept in and the black mark is where the photo was taken from. (The cave itself was incredibly well sheltered, probably about 4-5m deep and about 8m wide, very similar in dimensions to Spare Rib Cave. Only problem was that it is by no means flat, we named it "I'm sure its not a" Cave!)

Let's get this going again, shall we? I'll start with an easy one... I think?

That looks so much like what I expect Ships Prow pass to look like... So lets see, its definately a high berg pass (that basalt cliff gives that away). Process of elimination: it definately isn't Bushman's Nek Pass, Thamatu Pass, Bushman's Pass, Knuckles Pass, Walker's Pass, Mzimude Pass (although there is a vague reseblance to the south fork of Mzimude pass, but you wouldn't have said it was easy if it was Mzimude pass), Wilson's Pass, Bollard Pass, Mashai Pass, Rhino Pass, Nhlangeni Pass, Mohlesi Pass, Organ Pipes Pass, Pitsaneng Pass, Langalibelele Pass, Bannerman Pass, Verkyker Pass, Stones Pass, Thuthumi Pass, Saddle Pass, Corner Pass, Amakehla Pass, Judge Pass, KwaNtuba Pass, Tseketseke Pass or Gypateus Pass...

Passes that I can't eliminate: Grey's Pass (I have no clue what Grey's Pass looks like), Leslies Pass and a few others...

My second guess would therefore be Minaret Pass (based on the following photo off berg.co.za)...
