Looks like the central berg, i'm thinking monks cowl area, and based on the angle i'm going with near the top of sterkhorn

Ok, that also looks central bergish - i don't recognise the rock face, so its not giant's castle area. There is a large rock face and a narrow summit, so its not judge pass, and its clearly not corner pass, i'm going with injisuthi pass summit.

ghaz I think you are almost right (unless your suggestion of Giants has led me astray), though its not quite the summit of Giants Pass, rather further north, on the slopes of Long Wall. The view is across to the Giants Castle massif, but the summit itself it not visible. That buttress and gully loom over Giants Pass.
Take nothing but litter, leave nothing but a cleaner Drakensberg.

On what Northern Berg river was I sitting when I took this photo.

Hint: the rock is basalt, but its not the escarpment edge.
