So you may have noticed that we have not uploaded the first map in the series (RNNP). This is due to the fact that my map was printed in 1997 so wanted to at least put a more up to date map up as an over lay. So this weekend we where in the RNNP and they did not have a copy of the map for sale. They wanted to sell me a R3.00 map of the walk we were taking.... Is this a sign of the times...
Question to you all is do you want an old map over lay?

How are you scanning them? I'm thinking of doing a proper scan (paying for a large format scan) of all the maps so that I can have them on my phone while hiking. The paper ones get ruined so easily and quickly. Once I have good high quality scans I could try doing some overlaying too.

I think the latest version of Map 1 is edition 2 .
Just surprised that the visitors center at Mahai did not have any.
