News from Sarah at the finish line:

Mist covered Sentinel. Moon disappeared behind clouds. Icy wind howling through.

Andrew does not have the option of bailing or overnighting in a cave - without any warm gear, the only way to warmth is to head down the chain ladders. His pace is still pretty good considering that it has taken him about 200km to get to where he currently is.

He is climbing Mont-Aux Sources right now, it is all downhill from there.

Finishing this thing in the dark and mist and solo must be really hard going! Its when a bit of company could make a large difference.

Another asymmetry to the S-N route must be having the coords to descend the chain ladders in such a depleted state.
