Maps & apps for GPS

Yes, same results via the app or directly on the website. The only contact I found for them is via social media and I don't use that. Can't find a direct email contact to ask them, hence my request above.

I'm looking for an app (Android) that I can pre load a trail on with waypoints. It will need to then run off just GPS once on the trail as it will be out of network.
I have tried OSMand but I can't see if this function is on there.
Ps the first hike will be Mafadi Peak loop in the berg.
Thanks,
Richard

Very user friendly and can load previous gps tracks and do offline tracking.
I like this APP, it has helped me allot in the past while hunting and fishing even to mark points.
If you want to know more, you can download a pdf manual of the APP that gives nice instructions.
Enjoy

Routing means that the App will automatically calculate, on the fly, the best way to travel to your destination through a network of path segments. It goes without saying that this is thus dependent on the quality of the map behind the App. And that if you have a good enough map, you will never need to follow a track.
(Wikiloc is a great App, but it cannot do routes).
I specifically want a downloaded map not a cached map, so unless I am missing something, Google maps will not work either.
At this stage, I care only about the App, not the availability of the map – I will (hopefully) take care of that bit. Bonus points will be awarded if the App in one way or another supports external development so that a new routing algorithm can be written, that is hiking specific instead of the usual driving algorithms.

I've used it extensively for bike touring. The routing UX is a bit clunky but it's workable once you get the hang of it.
