Terra-firma was available from iWarehouse at one stage as well, maybe Trappers took over the brand.

Quick question. On my sunny 1 man tent it says min packed weight is 2kg. Altogether on my scale is 2.6kg....

what exactly do they mean by min packed weight?

The weight indicated on all tents (regardless of brand) is the actual minimum packed weight. Some transparent brands will indicate this on the bag, as in your case.
What that means is the combined weight of the minimum kit required to pitch the tent.

This is consistent with my experience too. If I add a footprint, guy ropes and a few spare stakes then the weight is 20 to 25% more than minimum...

Got Creative last weekend and added some valences to the 360 degrees Light weight 2.
Hope to take it out for a test weekend after next.

only added about 90g of material so quite happy with that.

Wow wookie, looks like a fantastic job! Let us know how it turns out.
I smell a side business ;)
(The cottage industry in the US is huge, and I'm guessing many of the companies started out making small mods like that)
