Outdoor Freedom in Centurion is having a 30% off sale on all clothing in the shop.

Trappers.co.za is advertising the E3 summit tent at R3199 (mountain mail has theirs at R4395). Not a sale, and i am not sure if its vat inclusive. Seems like its a good deal.

The Consumer Protection Act requires all prices to be listed inclusive unless certain conditions are met. I have never come across their prices being ex VAT when I have checked the website and later visited the store.

They seem to stock some interesting 1 man tents...

The only problem is their starting point is 30% higher than everyone else (I've priced a fair amount of their stuff over the years)

I just replace my 7 year old La Sportiva Halites which are starting to show signs of de-lamination from wet (very) hikes with a pair of La Sportiva Trango Alphas from Drifters. They were at 2.5k now selling for R 1699. A good deal for me as they are light but with a strong vibram sole and gore-tex bootie...
