No problem couple weeks ago in a vehicle with fair clearance.

Does any one know if Mike's Pass is open to the public to the vulture hide, and that the road is actually passable?

Pass is open - get a permit from Didma reception. We saw at least 40 vultures so that we very encouraging.

The road has become pretty rough with deep ruts in places. I'm not sure if any maintenance has been done since last year, but the recent rains can't have been kind. A vehicle with clearance is advisable, a 4x4 preferable.
