Well done Richard!!! But I disagree, I think you have many more years in you!

I told my father in law that when he turns 70 I'll run the Otter with him. So he turns 70 this year and we both have entries. Last year he ran just under 8.5 hours. Not bad for a 69 year old. Guys like you inspire me. Keep it up!

Ha...Adrian T: Thanks for your encouraging words. My problem is that I have a competition mentality and its all or nothing, so my aging body is saying slow down but my mind is saying the opposite....That's for trial running and not for my hiking where I go as slow as possible to take everything in.

I want to sell my entry to the Mnweni marathon, sadly i'm not fit enough for this event. I think it will be straight forward to change my entry details online. As always it will be the first person to contact me (R180.00)
