Arriving at Harrismith from Jo'burg with a Greyhound or InterCape bus. Is it easy to find a taxi for Witsieshoek and "Sentinel Car Parking" ?
How much can be estimated this fare ?
Thks

In South Africa, "taxi" probably doesn't mean what you are used tomayake wrote: Is it easy to find a taxi for Witsieshoek and "Sentinel Car Parking" ?
But if you contact Witsieshoek in advance, they will come and pick you up. They charge a lot for this, easily over R700. That is why I say - it is easiest if you can try and time your transport with a VE member who is going in that direction and contribute towards petrol.

what are you speaking about "WITSIESHOEK" ?
I fear managing some schedule with a VE member, ourselves landing from Europe would be a little tricky ...

Just returned form seven days in the Berg
Through a series of friends and friends of fiends we discovered a GEM.There is a lady by the name of Lily, she resides walking distance from where the Drakensberg Boys Choir school is, Cathkin Park/Estate area(-29.029396° 29.432428°).
She lives on a secure estate and has a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen and lounge cottage available for hikers. We arrived, parked our car, and for a nominal fee she drove us in her car to Cathedral Peak/ Didima where she dropped us off. Seven days later on our way down the we sent her a sms with our ETA and she picked us up.
Lily is a wonderful lady who treated us as family
I can personalty recommend Lily for a great way to get around at the start and end of your trail.
You can contact Lily on 082 459 8453 or 036 468 1230.
Cheers

We'll manage our return from Underberg with "Underberg(Nud)Express

I have yet found out the way in. In Harrismith There is :
Harrismith Taxi Association
Adress : 57 Warden St, Harrismith, 9880, Afrique du Sud
Phone :+27 58 622 2891
Does anyone know them?
Otherwise Hotel or Ghest-House as "Platberg Harrismith Backpacker", can they arrange something by their own means or something else ? For the time being I am not planning an overnight stop there that is why I am not now inquiring them.
Thanks, that will help me a lot

I almost want to urge you to take up the offer with Lily as mentioned by redshift below:

I am sure she will be able to collect you guys at Harrismith and even drop you off again.
What is your itinerary dates \ times looking like?

Does she lives in Central Berg (castle champagne), won't that be a little too far away from Sentinel car park and Harrismith ?
