Shuttle service or lifts Cathedral peak to chain ladders
Hi all
We want to do a mini traverse from Chain Ladders to Cathedral peak starting next Wednesday morning.
Is anyone offering a shuttle service, scheduled or otherwise? We tried Amphitheatre backpackers but they do not shuttle, you must join a hike (and pay full price) to get the lift.
Preferably we would like to leave the car at Cathedral, but we are open to ideas. There are just two of us.

Good Evening Geordie
When I did the GT a few years ago I spoke to Lucio from Karma Backpackers, he was more than willing to assist.
www.karmalodge.co.za/contact-karma-backpackers.html
have a chat with them and see whether they can assist, they have the most incredible breakfast btw!

A couple of years ago we used the Champagne Coach and Shuttle Service (back then called Golf Got You): www.csch.co.za/.
They handled our Pretoria - mini traverse - back to Pretoria transport for a large group and did an excellent job. Worked out cheaper than driving ourselves. They had to drop us at Witsieshoek Mountain Resort, though, due to the condition of the road. Since then the road has been improved, so maybe they can go to the car park now.

Thanks Herman,
I've contacted both lily(private) and Fiona (golf got you) but there prices are not viable for a group of three/four people. Looks like we will be heading out to Ledgars cave from sentinel car park and then back again. Seems like easier navigation than finding lifts.

Planning a Hike in June from Sentinel CP to Cathedral , we are four in the group hiking, and our approach is to meet up at Cathedral Peak Hotel 1 day Prior leave a car and take another to Sentinel CP traveling in two cars from different locations, After the Hike we'll collect the Sentinel CP Vehicle and depending on our fatigue we may opt for a night at Witsies...... Hiking all the way to ledgers and back to CP seems so incomplete.

We just completed a Mini Traverse and I can highly recommend Mbongiseni Shuttle: 078 168 5837, 061 403 1691, 079 985 9914. We made arrangements to leave our car at Amphitheatre Backpackers (R200 for 5 days) and Mtshali from Mbongiseni Shuttle took us from there to Sentinel Car Park and picked us up at the the end at Cathedral Peak Hotel--R1200 round trip for the both of us. Hi ladies and gentlemen. I have done a couple of long hikes in the mountains where I needed a shuttle back to my starting point. I have used this person and I can highly recommend him, especially on the longer hikes. He will fetch you wherever you finish and take you back, always on time. He's name is Cedric, cell number +27723254267 Southern Berg Shuttle. He operate between Witsieshoek and Bushmansnek. All the best, safe hiking!!
