Yes it seems this system is quite tricky to predict, but hopefully the updates will a little more consistent in the next day.
The 8am update of the 3 day total snow accumulation page hasn't updated yet, but the 6 hour pages have updated.
It isnt showing the heavy snow that was previously forecast, but it is still showing very cold air moving into the Drakensberg region from Thurday night, with freezing levels down to 1500m, which is lower than we've seen for quite some time. Light snow is still likely into the KZN midlands and Eastern Free State

I am packing, we are headed up on Friday. Hope there is some snow, kids will love it. Sled is packed just in case lol!
