Snow has also been reported on the amphitheatre, around Mafadi & Sani Top

Yesterday's Terra satellite imagery show the extent of the morning's snowfall in red. Although the snow seemed to be rather widespread, accumulations were/are mainly on the high ridges above 3000m, with the heaviest concentration in the Mafadi region.

We camped near the top of Fangs at roughly 3180m (according to GPS) on Sat night and I can tell you it was roughly 10-15cm deep. Quite a lot for something that wasn't predicted - lucky we were prepared and warm enough.

Flew Durban - Lanseria this morning (8am) and there looked like lots of snow on the Northern Berg, but well back from the escarpment.
