@Stijn: which Jarding Pass are you doing? I'm guessing north will be the most pleasant in these conditions. These might be the only conditions where south is vaguely interesting!

@Gudstff - sent you a PM.
@ghaz - we're planning on going down the North gully, yes. I've only ever done central, so quite keen for something new. It's south-facing so should hold snow for much longer too.
Also, lesson learned from last year - crampons & ice axe packed!

Nice! North is by far the best of the three.
Would have been nice to give my crampons and ice axe a go, but it looks like that will have to wait for next year. Still on track to get my 1000km in the Berg this year, but probably won't be hiking again before the long weekend next month.
@everyone in the mountains this weekend: keep safe and warm, and post lots of photos

You would only need the ice axe and crampons if the snow has become icy. I've rarely seen this in the Berg (more likely on South-facing gullies).
Both Langies & Bannerman were treacherous in these conditions last year - Bannerman probably being the harder of the 2 due to the steep final gully. So suss it out based on the amount of snow in the little berg.
Enjoy the hike!
