Update from Afriski:
"There is currently a serious snow storm in progress over the Maluti moutains. As at 7am on Wed it was still snowing, so far 10cm has fallen and the road to Afriski is impassable for non 4x4 vehicles"

Detail: Valid 08/06/2011 WATCH: 1.Very cold conditions are expected over the Drakensberg. 3.Snowfalls are expected over Drakensberg. 4. Severe thunderstorms are expected in the extreme western parts."

At 7am Afriski reported 10cm, at 8am they are reporting 20cm and still snowing. It seems to be coming down at quite a rate!
