There has been reports of heavy snow falling in Kokstad / Harding today, moving up towards Underberg. I just checked on the weathersa site, at 14h00 Underberg was 0.8°C.
Afriski reported snow falling at 6am this morning, but no further updates yet. From what I understand the snow should continue throughout the night, so some heavy snow is definitely on the cards for much of the Berg!

We had some snow in Phuthaditjhaba. About 1 - 2 cm thick. There is a layer of snow on the small mountain as you enter town. I will post photos of the mountain, Sentinel an Amphitheater, in the morning (weather permitting.

Afriski at 22h00 last night had 18cm with snow still falling. I also hear a number of roads in KZN are closed due to snow this morning:
Kokstad - Mt Ayliff
Balgowan - Mooi River
Ladysmith - Newcastle
Van Reenens Pass

Fairly good chance that the snow will be on most south facing slopes, particularly on the escarpment. Easiest ways to get there would be through Phuthaditjhaba, and up the chain ladder to the Tugela Falls area, or up Langalibelele Pass in the Giants Castle Area. I must caution you that the weather in the Berg can change very rapidly, and one needs to go prepared if you are planning to head for the summit in the search for snow. Hopefully the N3 will be opened again tomorrow for those coming from the inland areas....

Another good spot is Garden Castle, the snow tends to last quite a while there, especially in the shadow of the Rhino!
