From Cobham, I could see snow on the top mountains in the vacinity of Sani pass (but not on Hodgsons peaks).

Plenty of thick iced over snow behind Giants Castle,Lots of fun coming down.

Thanks for the pics everyone! I'm really pleased with the degree of preservation of the snow this time, particularly in the northern regions.

Take nothing but litter, leave nothing but a cleaner Drakensberg.

Sentinel to Chain Ladders.16.06.-18.06.2011 Had a great time op there.Started extremely windy on thr.but by fri.afternoon we had a great weather.Beautiful part of Drakensberg.Loved it.

Going up corner pass this weekend, so hopefully will see a bit of snow left over!!
Does anyone know if there will be any snow on friday? Will post pictures

Hi there. I'd love to take the kids out to play in the snow. Anybody know what the status is of snow in the Berg and surrounds currently? We live in Kempton Park.

I have just phoned Sani Top Chalet and apparently this last cold front has not brought any snow whatsoever...but very cold...wind chill factor with our weather station at Sani Top is -11°C this morning.

i'm currently in Ladysmith, from Observation Hill we could see the entire central and northern berg. There is currently only snow on the escarpment, there is snow on the southern side of popple (but not much), the mafadi/injisuthi ridge is covered in snow, there is snow on champagne, and then there are some dustings on cathedral and mweni areas (i don't know these areas well enough to identify the peaks on which there was snow). The ampitheatre is covered in snow.
