Ok - here's one:
Ok that was a joke - Langalibalele Pass last year on a failed attempt at Thumb Pass.
My serious one - it is from my stash of 2000 GT 2012 photos.
It looks really obscure, so here's some clues:
- I did Sandleni Pass to Thabana Ntlenyana in thick snow on that GT
- Its not in the Free State or Eastern Cape
- It is above 3150m (probably above 3200m)
- It is a ridge that connects 2 khulus

Good guess there ST. Unfortunately it's a bit further south.
Not that far south Stijn!

Hey guys. We still have to work out where Dillion's image is.
I am going to have a second and final guess on this. Mohlesi Pass, with Mohlesi Peak.

On the watershed ridge just south of Redi. Hlatimba passes are down to the left out of picture?

@Dillion: My apologies, I didn't see your photo was still active. I have only half been following what's going on on VE for the last few weeks, hence my lack of awareness. I'm going to guess Nhlangeni Pass.
@Bobby: That is correct.

@ST You're in the right neighbourhood, but not quite there! Both very good guesses though.
@Ghaz No worries, I hadn't read through this whole thread before posting my pic, wasn't aware of the "rules" for the quiz. Oh well
Nhlangeni is incorrect.

Anyone else want to take a stab at this?
Clue: the map has misplaced a feature near this pass. This feature is in reality +-2km to the west of where it has be shown.
I'll give this a few more days and if there are no other guesses I'll post the answer.

Doesn't look like anyone is going to get any closer than Serious Tribe.
The correct answer is Ngaqamadola South Pass. Interestingly, the head of this pass is pretty much equi-distant from both passes ST guessed.

Here is a quiz with a different approach:
On September 25th, after some scratching around in the summit cairn of the main summit of Inner Tower, a small metal container was found. Inside, amongst other things, were several pieces of folded paper on which names and dates were written of people who had climbed the peak.
What are some of the names which appeared there?
What are some of the dates, and in particular which was the earliest date?
No further clues will be provided.
