26 April - 4 May the MCSA Magaliesberg Section will be doing a mini-traverse from the Sentinel, finishing at Cambalala probably via Organ Pipes with a day or two to spare. We'll be 22.

I'd like to catch a one way lift from Johannesburg to Sentinel car park some time around the last weekend of April. If anyone is heading that way and can fit another passenger to split travel costs, I'm keen.
@Herman: Hi. If there might be some space available in your trip down on 26 April, that could be perfect.
Cheers

Hi All,
Our GT resupply group are doing Bannerman Pass – Langalibalele Pass from Friday 11 April to Sunday 13 April, carrying three days resupplies up for our GT group of seven. The plan is to leave from Giant’s Castle EKZNW at about lunch time on the Friday, overnight at Bannerman Hut, hike up Bannerman Pass on the Saturday and tent on top and return down Langalibalele Pass on the Sunday.
Anyone interested to join and assist to carry our resupplies, please pm me.

Just to add on to Tony's post..........there are two hikers leaving on Saturday morning ( 12th April) and going directly from Giants Castle Camp to the top of Bannermans to meet the GT team, so if anyone is unable to leave on the Friday, then this would be an option. Any assistance from you guys out there would be hugely appreciated!!

We obviously did it all wrong on my first GT back in varsity in 2004. We took 19 days for the entire hike, including a total of 4 days to get from the top of Leslie's to Injisuthi for a rest day and resupply and back to the top of Leslie's.
The luxury of 3-month holidays I suppose!
Enjoy!

Brent I might go up from Witsies to the carpark with my scrambler during that weekend. You are welcome to catch a lift up.

Don't underestimate the trek from Roland's to Twins. It's longer than we thought. This was our planned route for the long weekend in March a couple weeks ago. While descending the north side of Cleft Peak, the mist blew over and we opted for bailing down Cockade Pass instead of navigating with very limited visibility.
Roland's Cave is fantastic!
