Hi,

I would like to get together a group of 3 or 4 to travel from JHB and do a "snow" hike once we get some white stuff on the ground.

Any takers? We can discuss routes closer to the time..

I would love to. Wife is pregnant though (due early July) so the odds of my getting away are very slim. Its a pity, cos I'm trying to build up my kit for 'Berg winter hiking.

Will keep you posted, maybe a quickie... When is your little one expected? It's better to keep a buffer of at least one month!

On 24-25 May I was going to take some friends up the Chain Ladders to spend a night in either Crows Nest Cave or Ifidi Cave (depending on how fit the guys turn out to be), but due to work I am no longer available that weekend. The one guy is coming out from USA and really wants to sleep in a cave - so it has to be that weekend.

Anyone out there who is keen to join them and show them around? They are coming from Jo'burg and parking at Sentinel Car Park, so you can catch a lift down with them if you are coming from that side.

Not sure if that was aimed at Josh or me - but they thought you were going to contact them. They have moved the trip to 7-8 June if you are still up for it.

I will be in SA at the time, but only for 6 days, so I won't be joining them.
