We are off to Amphitheatre, hoping we'll get the snow.

Anyone got any ideas how the snow situation looks like around Garden Castle? Taking my wife, son and nephew camping this weekend and I'd love to for the boys to have a "snow experience"

@Fitness
At the moment there is suggestion of snow early on Sunday morning in that area down to about 2500m. The snow forecasts this year have been prone to changing on a daily basis, so I guess we should wait till closer to the time to get a more accurate idea of what is going to happen.

Fantastic. Thanks for the update. Been watching SA Weather service and a Norweign site for this weekend and both have changed.
I will be coming down Judges Pass on Sunday morning after a night in Upper Injasuti Cave. Hopeing to finally coincide a trip when the snow comes.

There is still lots of snow on the Western Lesotho highlands, I drove up from Maseru to Maputsoe/Leribe today and saw some really deep looking snow

No. 6: good snowfall on July 7. This is the sat image from the following day:
Snow on all major high-lying ranges of the Maloti-Drakensberg including the Wittberg. Not so much snow currently on the Northern KZN Berg escarpment, but certainly more in the Central and Southern Berg.

Hi All
I was luck enough to be up in Upper Injasuti Cave on Saturday evening. We woke up to a winter wonderland on Sunday morning. Will post a few photo's later. Lots of snow everywhere. We could see the front approaching on Saturday afternoon on top of Mfadi. What a privilege to have been up there.
Regards
