Considering how much snow was up there just over a week ago, and that snow was a few days old already, I'm going to hazard a guess and say that you will probably find plenty of good snow left on Saturday.

Enjoy! For once I am quite happy to not be in the Berg right now - I have been in plenty of snow already this year, happy to sit this batch out.

With snow levels likely to already be over a meter in places on the escarpment, it is interesting to note how much more is still forecast to fall today.

At the moment, it seems the Southern and Central Berg escarpment can expect another + - 15cm, with another 30-50cm forecast for the Northern Berg escarpment.

I think we can be fairly certain that there will be a lot of snow around up top for a good couple weeks!

Hi Trev, will post it when it becomes available later this afternoon.

Here's a low res version from Sat24 this morning:

The snow cover may not look quite as impressive as we might think due to the fact that the freezing levels did lift quite high yesterday so a lot of areas would have got rain. The snow on the peaks should be very thick though!
