Considering how much snow was up there just over a week ago, and that snow was a few days old already, I'm going to hazard a guess and say that you will probably find plenty of good snow left on Saturday.Stijn wrote: This weekend is looking good for an impromptu snow hike!
Enjoy! For once I am quite happy to not be in the Berg right now - I have been in plenty of snow already this year, happy to sit this batch out.

At the moment, it seems the Southern and Central Berg escarpment can expect another + - 15cm, with another 30-50cm forecast for the Northern Berg escarpment.
I think we can be fairly certain that there will be a lot of snow around up top for a good couple weeks!

Here's a low res version from Sat24 this morning:
The snow cover may not look quite as impressive as we might think due to the fact that the freezing levels did lift quite high yesterday so a lot of areas would have got rain. The snow on the peaks should be very thick though!
