The traverse across the first rock band at the base of The Bell, the climbers at the end of the ledge have just passed the start of Wong's route and are heading round the corner to Hooper's Route:

Down-climbing the exposed knife-ridge of Outer Horn. We did not abseil down. Note the concentration on bigberg's face :lol:

Abseiling down Inner Horn:

Chilling on the Chessmen:

Scrambling the central summit of Twins:

Take nothing but litter, leave nothing but a cleaner Drakensberg.

@JAX We turned around near bottom of Corner pass, unforeseen circumstances. try again in May. yes we met Jo at Centenary Hut,nice folk. We left about half an hour before you guys...remember we greated you at hikers parking

The forecast starting tonight shows 11cm of snow falling in the berg. My hike with the JHC for this weekend was cancelled and I'm still keen to do something.

I think it could be great to hike in the snow so please let me know if I can join anyone...

Going to have a go at an old favourite,Mafadi via Centenary hut, Upper Injesuthi Cave and Marble Baths Cave. Not sure how much of an effect the snow and wind forecast for Friday and especially Saturday are going to have on our plans though.

We are going up the chain ladder and on to Ifidi cave on Thursday. Will see how the weather is and maybe stay 2 nights in the cave and then hike back to Sentinal carpark.

OK with wind speed of up to 95 km /h forecast for Mafadi Summit area on Saturday, I think we will be going to "Plan B"
