I was going away but my trip fell through. I have taken Friday off.
I'd love to join, but I don't my (new) wife would approve :(

Good luck!
Let me know if you have any questions about that route, I did it in October.
The biggest tip I can give you is don't try go from Monk's Cowl campsite to the top of Ship's Prow in a single day!

I had hoped to do something this weekend, but I'm not free on Sunday, so I ended up pushing for next weekend and am now doing some rock climbing that weekend. I am rock climbing at Rumdoodle (Kloof area) with High Altitude Climbing Gym on Thursday...

Enjoy Ships Prow :thumbsup:

@Josh: Congrats!

No Ships Prow!!!
On Thursday afternoon at COWL FORK we assisted a couple,the gentleman had a light heart attack.Luckily there was a doctor and his wife on their way to Injisuthi on the trail.The doctors wife contacted Monks Cowl and less than an hour later Brett from Westline Aviation came to the rescue. I take my hat off to him,great flying!! We ended up camping at COWL FORK,my youngest son started getting problems with his feet. So we decided to camp there for two nights,second day two of us climbed the south ridge of COWL FORK,very nice outing,we ended up very high up. Saturday we camped at Dragons Peak

Well done for helping out, even though you lost out your opportunity to get up the pass. A lesson here for Everest climbers, what is a life worth?
