Dave Gay has probably already left Durban to start the GT.
Grant Wilkinson is leading the resupply, I don't have a tel no for him, but email Grant on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Hi Supertramp,
sorry for the late response. I've only just checked in.
The resupply hike leader is Gavin Wilkinson (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
The plan is to be at Giants camp by 8am on Friday 3 April, to start hiking at 8:30am. We'll spend the first night at Bannerman's Hut and climb the pass on Saturday to meet the the GT Team at the top of Bannerman's pass.
We can share transport. Where do you stay?

Hi Jerome
Thanks for the reply
I've sent you an email
It will be fantastic if I could join you guys. I haven't been to the Giants Castle area yet, the furthest south I've been was at Injisuthi, up Judges Pass doing Mafadi. I'll be more than happy to be a pack mule
I've sent Gavin an email on Friday but have not yet received a reply. Ideally I would like to have his blessing. Do you perhaps have a contact number for him?
Herewith just a couple of questions if you don't mind:
- How many people are in the resupply group?
- Will we be spending a night on top of the escarpment or are we descending directly afterwards? Just to ensure that I pack my gear (type of tent, clothing etc.) accordingly.
- Do we also plan on descending via Bannerman's or a different one?
It would have been great if we could share transport but unfortunately I stay in Secunda in Mpumalanga and I assume you will be coming up from KZN? I will be more than happy to meet you guys at Giants Camp.
Regards,
Danie

Danie, the GT resupply plan is a 4 dayer with the 3 nights being Bannerman Hut, top of Bannerman Pass and top of Giants Pass. If some guys are keen to cut it short they can go down Langies on day 3
