The upcoming hikes thread

Anyone going to do a hike in the Berg from Jhb this weekend? I'm looking to join if that's okay?

I'm having an attack of mountain madness and have no hiking partners available right now...

Although I wish I could escape to the mountains this weekend, it will have to wait until 27 Nov - planning on a quick Keith's Bush Camp / Grays Pass weekend hike.
Has anyone been up there recently? Would like to know the weather & water situation

I am also up for a 2-3 day trip, no real preference but central & southern berg is closest for me. I will update this post with dates when I have consulted with my significant others (wife & boys). My fitness is not great as I've been hassling with a chest/throat infection for a while but seem to be on the mend now.

Managed to get a last minute booking for Tonquani Kloof trail in Magalies 21 November. Will be a day hike and apparently some very awesome rock formations etc.

Will write up when done....

Ok, so my hiking partner can no longer make the trip I had planned on taking this coming weekend and I seriously need to get out there - the Berg is whispering my name in my dreams!!
Is anyone going hiking in over the next two weekends?
If all else fails, are your still doing your planned hike Papa Dragon?
I will be leaving from the Vaal area but can meet up along the way.
