Not bad early April, not bad!

Yes not bad at all, No. 1 it is. Thanks everyone who posted info. Cathedral Peaks webcam view was obscured by cloud all day unfortunately, though some snow was visible from Maliba's webcam. Any reports on how thick the snow was?

@Intrepid. Not sure how thick it was, but I was in Rosetta last night for a meeting, and the temperature on the car recorded 6Deg C. Having gone to work in a short sleeve shirt, I was undeniably freezing when I left the meeting at around 7pm.

It's no surprise given the chill factor in the air in KZN, snow's falling once again in the Southern Drakensberg.

The snow began falling at around midday.

It's still falling lightly on Sani Pass, with around five-centimetres of snow on the ground.

Staff at the Sani Mountain Lodge, Sani Top say by late afternoon it was a chilly minus one degrees Celcius.
