Although there were no particularly heavy or low level snowfalls, 2013 did see at least 17 individual snow events. A summary of these events is available in post 1 of this thread.
A new thread will be created for the 2014 snow season, lets hope its a good one!

Thank you very much to our local weatherman JonWells for doing a great job of handling the Snow Watch threads! 
Its fantastic to have a running record of the snow events. We now have about five years of data.
Very interesting, as JonWells pointed out, no major snow event stands out in my mind for 2013. Yet 17 snow events seems quite high. I'm not sure how this compares to a realistic average. With all the interest from the public in the snow events, and with media making the collaboration of data much better and faster, it may be that we are catching minor events which previously would barely have been noticed.
