We're thinking Giant's Castle on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe up Langies and down Jareteng North..

Stijn, that is exactly the route I was thinking of doing next weekend. I'd like to have joined you this weekend, but unfortunately I'm not equipped for the snow.

Hi Smurfatefrog. Yeah, we are going up Mlambonja pass on Saturday, camping on top of Cockade. Sunday down Cockade pass back to the Hotel. Looking forward to hiking in the snow. Originally planned on going up the Camel, sleep at Rolands and down Organ's but changed the route due to high likelihood of ice on that one exposed section of the Camel. What do you have planned?

I'm at Didima with my family, so only have time for a quick mission on Saturday morning, will probably do a loop up to the contour path. I'll look out for your group if I end up on the Mlambonja side

Hi all.
There is a KZN section MCSA hike in the Mnweni next weekend if anyone would like to join.
It will be a Friday to Sunday hike (9th-11th) looping Mnweni and Ntonjelana passes. We will sleep in Ledgers and Easter Cave.
All welcome. (Fitness required)

From the 19th to 22nd September I am going to photograph Vultures in the Vultures Retreat area/Monks Cowl. The Vulture chicks have just hatched so there should be some great opportunities to photograph them. Smurfatefrog and Papa D are doing a 3 day Bushman's Nek loop next weekend.
Plan to leave the border post on Friday morning, 16th, and go to Goat's Cave via Tarn Cave.
Day 2/up iScathula, via Walkers Peak and down Walkers Pass to Whytes Cave.
Sunday return.
Traveling from Westville...
One or 2 more hikers would be welcome...
